How do I use your service?

Our system matches you to several local service professionals and contractors based on information you provide on our web site.

When you click on one of the service categories, you will be taken to a form with questions about your project.

You don’t have to answer all of the questions, but the more information you provide, the better job we can do, and the shorter the amount of time before our Service Partners are able to provide proposals for your project.

How much does the service cost?

There is no cost to use this web site to find information or reliable Service Partners! You will then receive multiple proposals for the work you have submitted.  You simply chose the service provider/contractor you wish to use!  Its that simple!

Each service provider/ contractor is aware that they are one of many competing for your business!

Who do I call if I have questions or concerns during the project?

Sometimes the most efficient way to get answers for simple questions is to ask the Service Partners directly while they are in your home. If both parties aren’t face to face, it is often more convenient to communicate questions and concerns directly to a 45Fix customer service representative, since we stay in constant communication with our network of Service Partners while a job is ongoing. Your local 45Fix representative is also available to help. Customer service will check in with you pro-actively according to your preferred schedule as discussed at project kickoff. We ask that you always make sure that 45Fix is aware of all conversations you have with contractors and decisions that you make during your project so that we can keep an accurate history on file.

Do you check contractors / service providers?

We perform a background check on approved contractors / service providers and allow our clients to rate the service they received and add comments.  These comments are viewable to all our users!  If a contractor has any negative comments, they know they won't continue to get business!  This means their reputation is on the line!  Even if that contractor / service provider ceses to use our service, the comments and critisismn remain online for the whole world to see!
